Apply SQL Server 2008 SP4 Service Pack in SQL Server

SQL 2008 Express Edition is having RTM Version

When we try to update SQL 2008 R2 SP3 setup file

It will through Error says it should be expecting SQL 2008 Service pack file but we have initiated SQL 2008 R2 Service pack Setup file

After we have initiated correct file SQL 2008 Service pack file we can apply/update service pack correctly

you can see we can apply service pack file see below

Also we can install SQL Server 32 bit setup file 64 bit system

 it gives error as it requires 64 bit setup file

so we need to initiate SQL 2005 32 bit Service pack file

now we can successfully apply service pack 4 on SQL 2005 32 bit file
